A harmony of style in the latest Reserved lookbook
/Naturally simple /Pure poetry/ Boho melancholy/

Retro and romanticism combined Ethnic nomad and boho globtrotter immersed in the surrounding pop culture are the characters featured in the latest summer lookbook of Reserved.

The Moroccan off-the-beaten-track locations are not only a perfect background for the campaign, but also an inspiration for the summer collection offered by the brand. The starting point was the carefree idyllic mood, presented not in the usual way, but with added techno style of the 1990s festivals. As befits Reserved, the whole campaign is filled with multicultural motives, hence the oriental patterns, ethnic references and the Balkans-inspired style. Drawing on the traditions of various civilisations is currently a strong global trend in fashion and pop culture, also pursued by Reserved. And everything as close to nature as possible.
Dresses play a leading role in the summer women’s collection. The highlights are the lace, romantic and openwork ones, resembling fish nets. Mesh in many forms is also used by Reserved designers in the skirts. Other strong elements are the dresses embellished with flamenco frills and figure-hugging striped tunics. The tie die motives refer to the festival style which began years ago in California. The blouses and wide copper-tone trousers are as if taken straight from the narrow streets of the Marrakesh markets. The proponents of minimalism will approve of the Victorian-style lace peplum blouse, a simple linen trench coat or an asymmetrical single-sleeve sweater. Leather neck pouches, mini-baskets and bucket bags are perfect additions to this totally nomad collection.

The key theme of the Reserved men’s line features comfortable, oversized styles. Dusty colours or earthy hues of simple, single-breasted suits are paired with sandals. Patterns constitute an important motif this season. The retro-style ones are featured primarily on flowing shirts, paired with wide shorts for contrast. The linen tops in the summer collection are paired with striped Bermuda shorts adding to the utterly nomad look. Khaki blazers and hooded wind jackets refer to the safari style. Just like in the case of the women’s line – here, too, the tie-dye prints are primarily featured on Coachella-inspired T-shirts. And the accessories? The traveller’s attributes or fishing hats, the XXL sacks and oversized shoulder bags all contribute to the globetrotter vibe of the whole collection.

The rave style as if taken straight from the 1990s techno festivals, colours of the desert, savannah mood. This blend forms an eclectic collection by Reserved, filled with the summer idyll vibe, which will be perfect both at a summer holiday resort, on trips into the wild, and in the urban jungle. www.reserved.com
