Until December 31, come and see at The Mall the informational and educational exhibition dedicated to Ancient Egypt – the tomb of Tutankhamun KV 62. The exhibition presents 120 objects, copies of artifacts from the tomb of the king! Among the items on display are copies of Tutankhamun’s golden mask, the gilded sanctuary, the golden throne and many more. The tomb of Tutankhamun (KV 62) is the only intact tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, Egypt. The copies of the objects are made with great precision and are as close as possible to the real artifacts found in the king’s tomb. They are one of the most significant discoveries in Egyptology. The exposition is dedicated not only to the copies of the artifacts but also to the great work of the English archaeologist and Egyptologist Howard Carter, who discovered the tomb on November 4, 1922 and for 10 years, together with his team, described, restored and preserved each artifact from the tomb. The exhibition is organized by “Horus” Bulgaria, with the support of the Ministry of Antiquities in Egypt.
