Theatre “DA” – “Ray of Sunlight”
The team of Theatre “Da” chose for its first show the puppet piece “Ray of Sunlight” by the Romanian author Adrianu Popesku. The main subject in the performance is about the people who are kicked out of society, the ones that are not needed. The characters – Toby the mouse and Maya, the ballerina, are on the attic, where nobody cares about their faith. Discovering that even different, they can still be friends and help each other, the two of them get over their loneliness and their fears. With this performance we want to show to the children that we feel like the whole world has turned its back to us, if we help each other, we’ll find a way. Besides, the different ones should not be isolated and invisible, because with a little care and attention, they can live to their fullest too. To help support the mission of the performance we chose the ouse to play the piano, and the ballerina to dance.
State Puppet Theatre Burgas – “The Two Princesses”
