Puppet shows at The Mall! Look at our program for February. Come join us on the ground floor: the stage in front of Technopolis store. We will be there every Saturday from 11:00 o’clock.
01.02. – State Puppet Theatre Bourgas − “The Princess and the Pea” – Premiere
This is a performance with a lot of princesses, plenty of advice, a lots of questions and one prince, one pea and one true… love! All this told with the magic of the unity between a puppet and an actor.
08.02. – Theatre “Trollywood” − “Kose Bose”
Kuma Lisana /The Fox/ and little Kose Bose meet in a story about a tail, lies and stolen eggs, a story about how the witty one can be punished for being witty!
15.02. – State Puppet Theatre Yambol – “Granny, Grandkid and a Puppy”
This is a story about granny Marta and little Koko, a story about spring, and the love between a Granny and the grandchild. The student Koko lives in the big city and is very, very busy… And his Granny lives in a small village. She really wants to see her grandkid and one day she decides to go to the big city and see him. But Koko makes the same decision and heads to his Grandma Marta, and here they meet! They have been both waiting for this meeting and are very happy to meet and play.
22.02. – Theatre “Danny & Dessi” – “Thumbelina”
The performance is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Andersen’s birth. The theater play was written by the famous Bulgarian writer Kina Kadreva, a winner of the Andersen certificate for children literature.
29.02. – State Puppet Theatre Sliven – “Story of Luck”
A tale about the Bulgarian tradition Baba Marta.
Every year on 1st March, to celebrate new born life, Baba Marta gives her blessing and gives everyone a martenitsa for health and happiness. Once she met a good-natured poor peasant with extremely bad luck. She helped him overcome his bad luck and achieve happiness and wealth. The man was clever enough to listen to Baba Marta’s advice, because if you are clever, you don’t need much luck. With a good heart and hard work one can achieve anything.
The classic tales are told in a very funny and attractive way, adapted for kids. All kids are welcomed every Saturday from 11:00 AM at The Mall, ground floor, in front of Technopolis store. The shows are free for everyone.
