Was it, or was it not, but they say that beyond the green field, beyond the unknown forest, beyond the deep river, the good king Alabal the First once lived, and his picky daughter – Princess Gratsiela. A lot of good applicants for the Princess’s hand arrived, but the proud princess called for her faith and invites the evil magician Gorolom in her kingdom. She then, bewitched to jump like a frog, began looking for help. Will there be a brave prince that will save her from the spell?… You will find out yourself…
09.11 – State Puppet Theatre Sliven – “Ugly Duckling”
The ugly duckling! Ugly, ugly duckling! Stop, wait! It’s not ugly, it’s different…Look at those curious, naïve and warm eyes – they love, they are afraid, they are excited. Different doesn’t mean ugly, but someone you should know and discover the treasure of his soul. Someone who has his secret. And what is the secret of the ugly duckling?…
16.11 – State Puppet Theatre Gabrovo – “Thumbelina”
A lyrical performance by Andersen. This wonderful tale is narrated by two amusing water spirits. They know Thumbelina and are involved in her story. The plot follows the classic tale, interrupted by the fun spells of the water spirits. The fairytale scenography, the puppets and the music complement the fairy ballad of Thumbelina, thrown into the whirlpool of life, in search of happiness and love.
23.11 – Theatre “Danny & Dessi” – “A Short Quack Story”
This performance is after the story by Kina Kadreva – “A Little Frog Story” and will charm you with the unusual subject of Time, that goes by unnoticed. At first sight this matter is not very often in the children’s minds, but the word “time” makes them ask millions of questions – what is the birthday, how the adults grew up, how one day changes another, and so on, and so on. In this story the change of the little tadpole into a small frog gives the strong feeling of time passing by and leaving a change in all around us. Going through different days and periods, the little tadpole, growing into a little frog, learns the answers to all these questions from Mom, Dad and Grandma, who, just like in real life, carries the wisdom: “Time passes by, let it pass by, it takes something from us, and always leaves us something else…”
30.11 – Trollywood Theatre – “Winnie The Pooh”
There is nothing better than friendship…and a pot with honey, and the best is when your friend has a birthday! A story about Pooh and his best friends.
The classic tales are told in a very funny and attractive way, adapted for kids. All kids are welcomed every Saturday from 11:00 AM at The Mall, ground floor, in front of Technopolis store. The shows are free for everyone.
